UPDATED Thursday's Loose Parts Play Class (10-11am) - Update
Each week, children (accompanied by an adult) will utilize small pieces and parts in a non-structured , open-ended way. We will use a variety of items/materials including natural elements, recyclables, jewels, gems, buttons, pom poms, play dough, beans & more! Your child will be free to move, build, take apart, carry, count, line up and create! Themed books and calm down activities will also be available if your little one needs a quick break from the action. Come ready to haves some fun! Play clothes are a must, but the clean up is on us!
WHAT IS LOOSE PARTS PLAY AND WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Loose parts play is a specific type of play that utilizes small pieces and parts for your child to use in a non-structured way. Move, build, take apart, carry, count, line up and create!

7/22 - FAIRY PLAY: A magical sensory experience. We'll be making potions, fairy or gnome gardens, and so much more!
7/28- STICKS & STONES: Explore & create with natural elements, scented playdough, and sticky paper.
8/5- SHELLS & THINGS: Mold and create sand castles, mix and stir water beads & explore ocean themed loose parts at our discovery table.
8/12- LANDSCAPES, HABITATS, CITIES & TOWNS: Draw & build roads for cars and trucks, create habitats with small world play items.
8/19- BUG HOTEL: Make your own bug hotel with sticks, moss, tree bark, flowers, leaves and recyclables.
